Payapps brought together customers, construction professionals and team members for its annual summer experience day at Mercedes-Benz World, combining networking and driving experiences with discussions on the challenges and opportunities facing the construction industry
Guests had the opportunity to experience driving on the track with instructors and try the venue’s F1 simulators before the afternoon session turned to construction technology, payment processes and the wider economic outlook.
The event previewed platform updates planned for Q3 and Q4 2026, giving attendees an early look at developments in the Payapps platform. The company also shared initial insights from its proprietary research into the challenges subcontractors face when submitting payment applications, an issue that continues to affect financial administration and relationships across the construction supply chain.
Glenigan economics director Allan Willen presented the Glenigan Summer 2026 Construction Forecast, discussing the macroeconomic factors influencing the sector. The presentation was followed by an open Q&A session with the Payapps team, giving attendees the chance to raise questions and discuss the topics covered.
The event gave Payapps an opportunity to bring its customer community together, share upcoming developments, and explore the financial and operational pressures facing construction businesses.
