According to Barry Didcock (“What Scottish literary great should be next in culture war slaughter?”, heraldscotland, February 11), “the row about the English curriculum for Scottish schools rumbles on”. Ironically there is a fair bit of “rumbling” in his own comments about the SQA’s recent revision of the Scottish texts.
